The incoming Peter and Bonnie McCausland Distinguished Chair in Neuroscience will be an established, highly productive scholar that brings a research program focused in or closely complementing University strengths in areas of neurodegenerative disorders, stroke, and neurodevelopmental disorders and must be eligible for appointment at the Professor level per University of South Carolina policy (ACAF 1.06). Academic home for this position will be in either the Departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Biochemistry, or Psychology, depending on the candidate’s area of expertise. This position requires a Ph.D. or M.D. with validated expertise in the neurosciences.
