What's your favorite thing about Columbia?

My favorite thing about Columbia and USC is that, even though it's a large school, you can make it feel smaller. I love that everyone here is part of a tight-knit community, and we all support one another.

What are your hobbies or things you like to do?

Some of my favorite hobbies include shopping, hanging out with friends, and going to concerts!

What has surprised you the most about Nursing school?

The thing that has surprised me the most about nursing school is how supportive everyone is. Everyone involved in your nursing school journey is there to help you, whether that is your professors or fellow classmates.

What is an accomplishment in college that you are very proud of?

An accomplishment in college that I am very proud of is my ability to maintain good grades while staying involved on campus. I am part of Greek Life, a member of SNA, a CON ambassador, and have managed to stay on top of my work to achieve the grades I strive for.

Why did you choose USC?

I chose USC because I knew I wanted to attend school in the South with strong sports teams, but I also prioritize academics. After touring the campus, learning about the sports traditions, and hearing about the amazing nursing program, I knew USC was the perfect fit for me!

What advice would you give incoming students?

The advice I would give to incoming students is to take full advantage of all the opportunities available to you. Get involved, ask questions, and make connections with peers and professors. These years are a great time to explore, learn, and grow both academically and personally.
