Biography

Nicole Stonecypher is the communications director for USC Brain Health.

Stonecypher manages all aspects of communications for USC Brain Health including strategic communications management, public relations, media relations, web development, tactical design/copywriting and production.

She has worked in the communications field for more than 25 years within a wide range of business sectors, both public and private, including public media, health insurance, utilities, healthcare, information services, public administration and higher education.

Stonecypher has served as communications director for USC Brain Health, Libraries, the College of Education and Student Health Services. Prior to joining the university, she served as a communications strategist for SCANA, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and the South Carolina Educational Television Network.

She obtained both a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Master of Mass Communication from the University of South Carolina.

Stonecypher is a lifelong, international birdwatcher and wildlife photographer who specializes in photographing birds and big cats.
