Environmental Health and Safety works to provide comprehensive environmental, health and safety programs and services to support the University’s mission to educate through teaching, research, creative activity and service.

The University of South Carolina has a comprehensive Environmental Health and Safety program. All university community members are expected to adhere to the policies and protocols to build safety consciousness among students, employees and others while reducing accidents, minimizing potential liabilities and promoting environmental stewardship.
