Attending Your Drop-In Tutoring Session
All Bates House Tutoring Sessions is on a drop-in basis and students are asked to bring their Carolina Card for check-in. Come prepared to work and be an active participant in the session. Bring questions from your assignments or lectures and an open mind. Challenging yourself to try new things can have great rewards, in and out of the classroom.
One-on-One Tutoring Appointments
Looking to make a one-on-one tutoring appointment instead of attending drop-in? Since Gamecock Gateway students are not enrolled in USC classes the staff will need to help you schedule those. Here are your options to get booking assistance:
- In-Person: Stop by the Bates House Study Lounge Peer Consultant Desk and ask one of the Peer Consultants to help you schedule tutoring. Hours are Sunday 4pm-9pm, Monday & Wednesday 2:30pm-9pm, Tuesday & Thursday 2pm-9pm
- Via Email: Send an email to the Gamecock Gateway account (gamecock.gateway@sc.edu) with the course you would like tutoring for and what day/time you are hoping to schedule. Our staff will answer you as quickly as we can.
