PEDU 187: Rock Climbing
What to Expect
Description of Course:
Fundamentals of rock and mountain climbing including gear selection and use, knots and rope management, anchoring systems, belaying, rappelling, climbing techniques, and safety considerations.
Description of Beyond the Classroom experience: all-day rock-climbing adventure trip to a predetermined wilderness setting to practice what has been learned in the classroom.
