    Heart of the Matter

Play a critical role in keeping the body’s hardest-working muscle healthy.

Cardiovascular Technology Degree Program

The heart is the body’s power supply — without it, nothing works. In the Cardiovascular Technology degree program, you’ll gain the scientific knowledge and technical skills you need to work with medical teams to diagnose and treat heart conditions.

The bachelor’s degree in cardiovascular technology is an innovative program combining three years of coursework with an immersive 15-18 month internship at accredited clinical sites. In CVT, you’ll study anatomy, human physiology, organic chemistry and physics and learn how to help physicians evaluate, diagnose and treat heart patients.

With a degree in cardiovascular technology, you can begin your health care career immediately — or you can pursue an advanced degree or a professional program such as medical school. Your degree gives you the knowledge and experience needed to go where your heart takes you.
