Interested in mentoring the next generation in your profession? Join the College of Arts and Sciences as we connect alumni with our students on November 6 | 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Campus Room (ground floor) of the Capstone Building. The address is 898 Barnwell Street, Columbia, SC. Reserved parking is available for alumni in the Close-Hipp Parking Lot located at the corner of Pendleton and Barnwell Streets.

The evening consists of a short presentation on networking skills, followed by a reception and a chance for our students to practice what they’ve learned. Topics that have been successful include sharing guidance and your personal story on your career and employment, navigating the job market, internship opportunities and hearing from you on the value of networking and communications as it relates to career and internship interviews.

No formal presentation is required from alumni, just a willingness to engage and answer questions in an informal setting. 

Our students are enthusiastic to obtain your guidance! Interested alumni should RSVP by filling out this form with your name, profession, graduation year, major, and current place of employment by November 1. Retirees are welcome too!
