Nicki Nash is the chief marketing officer and spokesperson for Founders Federal Credit Union, one of the largest and most innovative credit unions in the nation. Founded in 1950 in Fort Mill, South Carolina, Founders has grown to serve over 285,000 members with more than $4.9 billion in assets.
Nash joined Founders in 1994 in the marketing department and has held various leadership roles, including vice president of business development, senior vice president of marketing, and ultimately, chief marketing officer in 2003.
As CMO, she oversees the credit union’s brand and marketing strategies, managing the company’s image across all subsidiaries and its almost 50 locations.
Nash holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina, where she specialized in advertising and public relations with a minor in political science.
She is also deeply committed to her community, serving in various leadership roles. Nash is a member of several boards, including the USC Palmetto College Board of Visitors, York Technical College Foundation Board of Directors, Arts Center at Fountain Park Board of Directors, Dean’s Leadership Council, University of South Carolina’s College of Information and Communication, the Rock Hill Symphony Orchestra Board, the Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation Board and the York County Chamber of Commerce Board. She has held past presidencies for the Junior Welfare League, Children’s Attention Home, and the Arts Council of York County, among others. Her dedication to civic engagement reflects her strong ties to the local area and her passion for giving back.
Nash and her husband, Bill, live in Edgemoor, South Carolina. She has two daughters: Rorie, a University of South Carolina graduate, and Addie, who currently attends the University of South Carolina. Nash’s leadership at Founders and her extensive community involvement showcase her commitment to both professional excellence and the well-being of her community.
