Claire Mueller recently earned her Master of Science in environmental science from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi after completing her Bachelor of Science in environmental science with a minor in economics. During graduate school, Claire served as a graduate teaching assistant, where she discovered a passion for working in higher education and supporting students. While in college, she was also a member of the Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi Islander Dance Team. Following graduation, Claire continued mentoring students as an adjunct instructor and Upward Bound instructor, helping undergraduate and high school students succeed both academically and personally.

Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Claire is excited to begin this new chapter in Columbia. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, working out, exploring local restaurants and shops, and watching college basketball. She looks forward to discovering everything the area has to offer and becoming part of the local community.
