Background

Patricia Fabel, Pharm.D., is the Executive Director of the Kennedy Pharmacy Innovation Center and a Clinical Professor at the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. She received her Pharm.D. from the University of Rhode Island and completed a community pharmacy practice residency at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy and Kroger Pharmacy.

Dr. Fabel has over 17 years’ experience developing and implementing patient-care services in community pharmacy settings.  She served as the South Carolina Pharmacists Association’s (SCPhA)  assistant coordinator for grant programs for almost a decade, helping to manage a pharmacist-provided hypertension coaching program, assisting in the implementation of a statewide MTM & Group Lifestyle Coaching program, and working to promote the incorporation of pharmacists into the primary care team within FQHCs and rural health centers across the state. She is an active member in both SCPhA and the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), serving as an APhA Trustee and President of the Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management from 2023-2025.
