History, M.A.
College of Arts and Sciences
Make your mark in a dynamic field, whether as a professional historian or a history maker, by studying with award-winning faculty members and conducting hands-on research in our history program.
History graduate students study complex issues and communicate their findings to advance knowledge of the past and present. They go on to work in education, museums, archives, business, law and more. We fully fund most M.A. students through teaching assistantships, which allow them to gain valuable teaching experience.
