A graduate performance certificate is a great addition to any School of Music graduate program, allowing students with an undergraduate degree in music to focus on applied music study and performance activities.

For our talented graduate students who can successfully complete an approved performance-focused program that provides a minimum of eighteen semester hours of graduate study, we offer the opportunity to further your artistic abilities at the graduate level. What You’ll Study

The completion of the graduate performance certificate program requires successful completion of two public recitals on their primary instrument or voice. Music will be reflective of post-baccalaureate musicianship and will represent styles, genres and contexts deemed appropriate by the candidate’s recital committee.
