Bryan Gentry leads the communications team, overseeing strategic communications projects and managing media relations. In his 10 years in higher education communications and marketing, Bryan has managed a major name change and rebrand for a small university, written and edited alumni magazines, and grown social media followings. An admissions viewbook he wrote won the national Award for Excellence for Publication Writing from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. He loves helping faculty and students get broad awareness for their work, whether that be on the university’s website, alumni magazines, The Conversation or the national news. 

In his spare time, Bryan enjoys playing music, running, biking, reading and writing YA fiction, and drawing. As a master of the pun, he makes up jokes that his three kids think are hilarious. (Sssh... Don’t tell them the truth.)
