Communication and Culture: English, B.A.

Study communication broadly defined to include writing, speaking, rhetoric, and media (e.g., film, comics, digital media) and gain the skills sought by employers of most every kind.

This humanities-based major provides a capacious understanding of communication informed by the historical and contemporary insights of multiple disciplines; critical analytical tools for navigating diverse forms of communication (written, oral, digital, audio-visual); and advanced skills and experience in writing, speaking, argumentation and advocacy, and interpretation.
