Violin/Viola Pedagogy: Music, M.M.
School of Music
Our master of music pedagogy with a concentration in violin or viola prepares students to teach upper strings from beginning to advanced levels. Unique practical teaching opportunities enhance our program.
We offer an exceptional educational experience for future string teachers. Our program is a national and international model. This degree program is directly partnered with The Suzuki Academy of Columbia and USC so graduate students have the opportunity to learn Suzuki method pedagogy by observing and teaching in a working Suzuki method program.
